Jean Xceron (1897 to 1968), lived for many years
in Paris where he was an art critic and artist. He later moved
to New York where
he had numerous one-man shows with, among others, Sidney Janis Gallery.
In 1966, Xceron’s work was the subject of a retrospective exhibition
at the Guggenheim Museum. From 1974 to 2003, Andre Zarre Gallery
hosted twelve one-man shows of Jean Xceron’s work.
