Jean Xceron

Jean Xceron (1897 to 1968), lived for many years in Paris where he was an art critic and artist. He later moved to New York where he had numerous one-man shows with, among others, Sidney Janis Gallery. In 1966, Xceron’s work was the subject of a retrospective exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum. From 1974 to 2003, Andre Zarre Gallery hosted twelve one-man shows of Jean Xceron’s work.
